Project Description
Installation Of Low Sulphur Fuel , Fuel Gas & Gasoil Pipelines From Mina Al Ahmadi to Sabiya & Doha Power Stations
Scope was Mechanical-Construction of New Pipe lines from Mina Ahmadi Refinery towards Kadma
1. 48” Diameter Pipeline for Fuel Gas , welding for 52 KM length
2. 24” Diameter Pipeline for Gas Oil , welding for 52 KM
3. 24” Diameter Pipeline (Insulated Pipes) , for Low Sulphur Fuel Oil , welding for 52 KM
4. 40” Diameter Pipeline for Rich Gas , welding for 2.5 KM
5. 12” Diameter Pipeline for Condensate Gas welding for 2.5 KM
The Construction scope included:
1. Welding for the Main pipeline on above ground for continuous length for a Max of 1 KM per section
2. Lowering of the welded sections into the trench
3. Tie-In welding for the lowered section
4. Insertion of welded pipeline sections for the Trench less Road crossings
5. Coating works for the welded joints
6. Testing – Cleaning Pigging, Gauging Pigging, Water filling, pressurizing , de-watering, swabbing, drying, purging.
The Civil Scope Included:
1. Construction of Right or Way (ROW)
2. Land Survey
3. Trenching (Excavation)
4. Backfilling
5. Berm Construction
6. Valve pit concreate works.
